We offer several programs, as listed below;
Adoption
We offer
most of the horses donated to the rescue up for adoption. The adoptoin fees help us pay for the care and feed of the
other rescue horses. In most cases, a payment plan can be made. To complete an application please click here. Foster
We have two foster programs, one is a short term where a horse is
put into foster care while a home is being found and/or a minor issue is being worked on.
The second being a long
term foster program which is usually used for hard to place animals or those with serious issues.
With both of our
foster programs all allowable items can be written off on a tax deduction (please check with your tax specialist to verify
what items are allowed in your state).
Board Member
Board members attend quarterly
meetings and vote on issues addressed at each meeting. Board members can attend in person or via conference call if
they are located out of state.
Trainer
Either professioanl trainers willing to
donate their time/experience or those willing to learn and work at our main facility or that of a State Rep or foster home.
We need people willing to gentle wild or retrain abused horses.
Volunteer
To assist
either with hands on work with the horses, at booths or other functions, to help with fund raising, promoting the rescue and
it's horses, to handle horses at horse shows and/or parades and we also could use a volunteer to assist with some of the
huge piles of paperwork we have to wade through and file.
Volunteer Co-Ordinator
A
volunteer that is capable of keeping track and scheduling new and existing volunteers as well as providing training for any
volunteer requesting it.
